Communicateur, directeur de création multidisciplinaire, préoccupé de design urbain, conférencier, avec à son actif des découvertes et interventions dans plusieurs villes du monde, Scott Burnham a accepté une invitation à prendre en charge un atelier URBAN PLAY/JEU URBAIN pour la semaine de Design international de l'UQAM. Il se penche à l'heure actuelle sur un -Urban Play- avec Droog Design, à Amsterdam et est le Directeur à la création invité pour la Biennale de Montréal 2009.

''Urban Play is dedicated to exploring the creative call and response between individuals and the city. Around the world, people it are taking it upon themselves to alter, augment and change the shared objects and areas of their cities to give personal significance to their urban environments and to leave their creative mark in the city they call home. This workshop will function as an creative urban laboratory to explore the objects and areas of the city with a new approach to design and the city: how can shared spaces, objects, visuals and aesthetics be created which invite creative participation by the public?''
